One of the most beloved parks for a day out, regardless of age, is the Efteling. Unfortunately, in recent years, the entrance prices have risen significantly, making it unaffordable for families on a limited budget.
The park entrance prices in Kaatsheuvel range between 38 and 51 euros. Additionally, visitors also have to pay for parking their car.
After standing in line for hours for attractions, hunger is sure to strike, and there are plenty of dining options available.
It’s a known fact that when going out for the day, you often end up paying more for food and drinks. The prices at the Efteling were already on the high side, but according to the website Looopings, those prices are going up even further now.
Previously, a bottle of ice tea cost 3.90 euros, but it is now priced at 4.30 euros. A small can of cola, fanta, or cassis used to be 3.70 euros and is now 4.10 euros.
Even a bottle of water will now cost 3.70 euros. It’s striking that even Disneyland Paris asks less for these items.
Ook heeft Loopings gemeld dat er andere prijsverhogingen zijn. Zo zal een patatje speciaal nu 50 eurocent duurder worden, met een nieuwe prijs van maar liefst 4,40 euro.
Voor liefhebbers van een broodje Unox is het ook slecht nieuws, aangezien de prijs daarvoor nu op 5,50 euro ligt, wat een euro duurder is dan voorheen.
Bovendien zijn er ook verhogingen in de prijzen van abonnementen. Vorig jaar was de jaarkaart geprijsd op 215 euro, maar in januari van dit jaar is deze verhoogd naar 250 euro. Vanaf 11 juni zijn er drie nieuwe abonnementsopties beschikbaar:
- Classic (225 euro per jaar)
- Plus (275 euro per jaar)
- Premium (390 euro per jaar)
De aanzienlijke prijsverhogingen hebben geleid tot veel kritiek onder bezoekers. Deel uw mening op Facebook om anderen op de hoogte te brengen van deze veranderingen, zodat niemand voor verrassingen komt te staan.
